Workshops Presentation

Purpose:

To provide the public with a basic understanding of the assessment appeals process, property tax timeline and what happens to property’s assessed value when the housing market slumps and then recovers. It provides property owners with information on how to determine if they should file an assessment appeal and how to be successful at their hearing. These workshops are conducted through the outreach efforts of the Orange County Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
